Yankees, Mets Sick from Rainy Weather

Derek Jeter is now back in the Yankees’ lineup after missing two games due to fever, headache, and a cough.
The flu bug isn’t out of the clubhouse, however. It has claimed another victim—Johnny Damon.
Damon missed Saturday night’s 5-0 win due to his symptoms, and looked sluggish again on Sunday.
Manager Joe Girardi said Saturday that several Yankees have been sick lately, including Melky Cabrera, pitchers Chieng-Ming Wang and Phil Hughes, and second baseman Robinson Cano, but everyone except for Damon has been available in the Yankees-Mets series.
Throat cultures have apparently been coming back fine from the Yankees’ locker room, and Wang started Sunday night as the Yankees tried for a three-game sweep at Citi Field.
Meanwhile, New York Met Ryan Church has been removed from his team’s weak lineup because of nausea. This leaves the Mets lacking yet another starter.
On Sunday night, Church looked miserable as he sat slumped in front of his locker with a hooded sweatshirt pulled over his head. He sipped on a tall ginger ale with ice.
The Mets are currently missing three injured stars—Carlos Delgado, Jose Reyes, and Carlos Beltran—but luckily, they haven’t come down with any sort of illness in addition.
Presumably, the rain that has been drenching the northeast is to blame for sick New Yorkers on the field and off. There is no end in sight to the rainy weather, at least through this week.

They are my team, so due to loyalty, I will not be able to say the same about the Mets. Will another fan do it for me?
