Whoa, did you see that?
No, right there. That just happened. Oh my Lord. Something, like, so ridiculous happened during Sunday night’s game between the New York Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles.
What exactly was it? I have no idea, but whatever happened scared the grease out of this woman, who screamed “WHOA” over something happening on the field like it was one of the most heinous, unexpected things ever. The reaction was noticed by Deadspin’s Timothy Burke, who spun it into a beautiful little GIF of pure surprise.
Any guesses concerning why this woman almost “whoa’d” herself into the grave? What news or visual stimulus could cause someone to react like this?
Gut instinct says it was the moment she noticed the Yankees getting swept by the Orioles for the first time since 2005.
Or maybe she heard the Orioles radio announcer talking trash.
There’s also a chance Yankees general manager Brian Cashman told Alex Rodriguez to “Shut the (bleep) up” over the house speakers at Yankee Stadium.
Maybe New Zealand footballer/attack-ginger Ruslan Casey stormed the field and laid out Robinson Cano.
As I stated before, I don’t know why she’s reacting this way. I’m only guessing. I’m sure someone in the comments will have an authoritative explanation of what exactly went down here. Regardless, I think it is worth asking you, the reader, what you think this woman is losing it over.
UFO landing? Houston snow cones? Did she remember A-Rod’s contract again?
