The big story of the off season is how the Yankees, for the first time in years, didn’t get their man or really any man for that matter.
Cliff Lee chose elsewhere, they didn’t jump for Greinke, no big bats where added. Instead, they made a few gambles by picking up players who are attempting to come back from injuries.
The only real notable move was signing Pedro Feliciano today, a move that will surely bolster their bullpen and solve their left issues.
Now, the Yankees need to fill a few spots throughout the roster to really solidify the team and ensure a playoff run.
It is obvious they need to add something, but it isn’t a doomsday scenario if they just go from inside the organiazation.
However. here are a few suggetsions I have with remaining free agents and/or trades.
