It was a miserable four-game subway series for the New York Yankees, and two more losses against the Red Sox certainly hasn’t made things better.
With Mark Teixeira and Kevin Youkilis back, the rest of the team seems to be cooling off mightily as the team struggles to muster up any runs.
Outside of the Bronx though in the Yankee farm system, a few players had big weeks for their teams as others continued to fade into the land of missed expectations.
Also this week, a new face has been added to the list as Jose Campos pitched his way out of the No. 9 spot.
So as the Yankees try to figure out how end their losing streak, let’s focus on the young players trying to earn their way into the pinstripes.
