Two weeks ago, the Yankees and Mets faced off in the first part of the Subway Series.
The Yankees swept the series and took all three games at Yankee Stadium.
Now, here we are, two weeks later and the two teams that play six miles away from each other will square off at Citi Field.
The Yankees are 41-27 and come into the series in first place in the American League East with a 2.5 lead over the Baltimore Orioles.
The Yankees had won 10 in a row before dropping two straight to the Atlanta Braves this week.
The Mets are 38-32 and come into the series in second place in the National League East, three games behind the first place Washington Nationals.
The Mets have won three straight following a sweep of the Baltimore Orioles.
Like the one played two weeks ago, both teams are battling for position in their respective divisions and while these games head-to-head aren’t going to impact the division, it will help each team if they can take the series.
Lets take a look at the upcoming series for this weekend with predictions for each game.
