The New York Yankees’ 2012 season is officially over as they were eliminated in the American League Championship Series by the Detroit Tigers without so much as a whimper.
A complete lack of offense was the driving force behind the Bombers being swept out of the playoffs.
And with this disappointing, frustrating finish to the season, heads are bound to roll and some key players to this year’s team won’t be back in 2013.
