Derek Jeter: Reunion with Minka Kelly Gives Yankees Star Reason to Celebrate

Derek Jeter has had an interesting three months, but all of that is behind him now that he is back together with Minka Kelly. According to Radar Online, the couple rang in the new year overseas together.
The Yankee superstar and the Friday Night Lights actress have been together in Paris for the last several days.
On Thursday they took in the Musée D’Orsay.
On Saturday, they were spotted in the Montmartre district, where they checked out Paris’ Sacré-Coeur church, and where Minka was seen taking photos of Derek as they explored the sights.
This joyous news comes just three weeks after the New York Post ran a story about Jeter and his gift baskets of fun, which he gives to all of his one-night stands.
While there are a lot of males who were likely green with envy that he could get away with that, a stable relationship is probably best for him at this point in his life. His baseball career is winding down and he can’t spend his retirement years with a parade of women and signed balls.
This is a good day for Jeter, because he needed some positive news to celebrate. The Yankees aren’t getting any better this offseason, he is a 37-year-old shortstop with no range and a platoon split that would make anyone else a part-time player.
Kelly has been the longest relationship of his professional life, that we know of, and she seems to have found the magic elixir necessary to get Jeter to settle down a bit.
As happy as these two might be, the cynic in me can’t help but wonder if this is just Jeter’s way of topping Alex Rodriguez, who is rumored to be dating former WWE diva Torrie Wilson.
But there is no way that Jeter cares about upstaging A-Rod that much, right?
