They say nothing is certain but death and taxes. Well I’d like to add the Angels winning the division to that list. As the leaves begin to color, the kids go back to school, and the Los Angeles Angles slowly begin to run away with the AL West.
Wait a minute. They are 8 games back?!
The Year of the Pitcher has generously spoiled baseball fans, giving them six no-hitters (including Galarraga’s “perfect” game). With the influx of hard-throwing, athletic pitchers into the Bigs, this year’s trade deadline involved many free-swinging bats to counter those no-no’s.
So let’s go predict some games and see if we can figure out who’s in and who’s out.
