Yankees Well Represented in All-Star Voting

Major League Baseball is turning their All-Star game into a joke. A few years ago they bored us to death until the game ended without a winner.

Since then they have done some things to try to get fans excited by the game again. The first thing they did was to make the game count by giving the victorious league home field advantage in the World Series.

Unfortunately one of the newer things to do is to encourage fans to “vote early and vote often.” This has made it into a pure popularity contest.

For example, Mark Teixeira has been one of the worst first basemen in baseball so far this season, but as of right now he’s a starter in the All-Star game (not that too many Yankees fans will complain).

That was my winded intro into the current voting leaders. The Yankees are well represented too so a lot of Yankee fans must be voting early and often. I guess that happens when you win the World Series.
