Mariano Rivera may have suited up for the last time, but Major League Baseball continues to find ways to honor the greatest closer ever.
Rivera was honored by MLB commissioner Bud Selig with the Historic Achievement Award prior to Game 2 of the World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park.

Among the other awardees have been Tony Gwynn, Cal Ripken Jr., Roberto Clemente (posthumously) and Ichiro Suzuki.
